Hey guys! Today I decided to make some soft boiled eggs and as i pulled an egg out of the fridge i put it into my otter shot glass and it dawned on me; shot glasses make wonderful soft boiled egg holders! i found that my otter held up the egg higher than my domo shot glasses but either way it works well as long as you don’t peel the top of the egg too far.
I discovered soft boiled eggs a few years ago when my friends brother cooked them for us and i instantly fell in love. I find the best way to cook them is by letting the water get to a full boil then lower the egg in with a spoon and then let the egg boil for 4 min and 35-40 seconds. this will get you an yolk that is almost nearly runny while all the whites will be solid.
making some more candied orange peels today for everyone in my dorm (that like 11 people) so hopefully they will go over well!
